"Implements that take their shape directly from their working contact with the substance they are made to deal with often express their purpose in simple and beautiful terms. In the strong hands of a blacksmith, iron is given a vitality that often transcends its use." C. Williams
Here are some of Tai's tools. It is always worth studying the tools of a good smith. He takes pride in them and they are used regularly, so the design is good. Some of these were made from old ball peen hammers, and idea that I like.
You know that showing us the tools of a Master will only ignite the flames of envy in us!
And don't think that a couple pictures of Tai's tools will get you off the hook! We expect a full tutorial from you on hammer redesign!
Photo stills will be ok I guess, but after your premier YouTube debut, "The File and Steel; The Makings of a Blade" I think your audience will be expecting something like this:
"When Bad Hammers Refuse to Work; Putting the Hammer in its Place"
Actually, I've been working on a video with Tai. He wants to start selling them. I'm doing all the editing work on it and I don't think I knew what I was getting into.
But...when I get some free time again, I think your idea, Albert, is an excellent one.
